Paran Bandopadhyay to start his theatre workshop from January

Paran Bandopadhyay will restart his

theatre workshop

from January after being in home confinement for nearly eight months.

“I don’t believe acting workshops can be done via online classes. I personally feel there should be eye contact and for that we will start our classes early next year, keeping the safety measures in mind,” said Paran while speaking to ETimes during an exclusive chat.

’, being directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. When asked the actor said, “I am not supposed to say a word about my character. All I can say I play a doctor’s role in this film.”

Paran also completed the dubbing of his upcoming film ‘

Tonic

’, directed by Abhijit Sen and he feels it’s time to get back to the normal working schedule keeping all the safety measures in place. “I was enjoying this nine-month sabbatical and I read and wrote a lot during this period. I am a very positive person at heart. I knew I was staying at home for my own safety. I knew I’d face the spotlight once again! I believe patience is the keyword in life,” added the celebrated actor.

Meanwhile, about the rise of good content, the veteran actor says for more than decades, Indian cinema was synonymous with made-in-Hindi Bollywood content which forced films made in other languages on the backburner.
