Paran Bandopadhyay skeptical about taking COVID vaccine
The vaccination drive against COVID-19 has already started in West Bengal for people aged 60 plus and 45 plus with comorbidities. However, just like any other elderly, the senior actors in Tollywood are also not so sure about the vaccination process. While many have put faith in the procedure there are some like Paran Bandopadhyay who don’t want to rush. The senior actor wants to wait till he’s sure about the effectiveness of the vaccine.
“I have no trust in the vaccine that is being given now to fight against COVID-19. So, there is no question of getting it. Many cases have been reported where people got affected after taking the vaccine. So why should I risk my life? I will only take the vaccine from my family physician whom I trust. He too has advised me to wait it out,” shared Paran while speaking to ETimes.
Meanwhile, the veteran actor has started his theatre workshop recently. “I don’t believe acting workshops can be done through online classes. I personally feel there should be eye contact between actors and one actor should be aware of the other actor’s body language to perform better on stage,” added Paran who shot for the Hindi film ‘Bob Biswas’ in December and will start shooting for Pathikrit Basu’s comedy film soon.
