For the first time,
Om Sahani and
Srabanti Chatterjee are pairing up for a feature film. Debutant director
Ayan Dey’s upcoming film ‘
Bhoy Peo Na
’ will see the two actors playing a married couple Sushanta and Tamosha.
It’s basically a horror-thriller revolving around the couple. After getting married, Tamosha’s relation with her mother-in-law creates trouble in paradise. The bitterness between them intensifies with time. Tamosha suspects there’s a conspiracy going on in order to throw her out of the house and here comes a paranormal twist along with a new mystery that changes their lives forever.
Speaking about her character Tamosha,
Srabanti
says, “You may find the character a typical one but at the end, there’s a big surprise. When I first heard the story I was just speechless. I have known Om and his wife Mimi for a long time. It feels great to see that I am working with Om. He’s a really promising actor.”
On the other hand, Om has worked with Srabanti once before in ‘Hullor’ but they didn’t share any scene in that film. “This is our first work as a pair. So, yes there are emotions. I will start working with Mimi on another horror film soon. After that, we will start shooting for Bhoy Peo Na.
While Dabbu is the music director, popular singers like
Anupam Roy,
Raj Barman
and Antara Mitra will be singing for the film. If all goes according to plan, shooting will start from the first week of January.
