Yash to take legal action against Shieladitya over film row?

is embroiled in a

controversy

surrounding him and Yash Dasguptaa just before the film's release. While Yash shared a Twitter note about him disassociating with the film based on creative differences between the two, Shieladitya had shared his take earlier.

"Yash is a part of our film and over the course of the last few months, the relationship between us has grown really well. Since, after the tweet, many have been calling us, we wanted to share our view on the tweet. It's his decision to back out as he feels there's a creative difference between us. However, we are yet to figure out if there are any such issue. Creative minds often have differences on various stages of a movie-making process but those are generally resolved for a better output."


Now, there seems to be further dispute in the case. Apparently, Yash has been accused of being intolerant of Shieladitya's choice of actors in news circulating in the Bengali media. The filmmaker has alleged that Yash made insensitive colourist remarks about the cast of the film and also suggested the film be more snazzy.

Yash, in a statement to the media, said, “Statements made are false and incorrect. We will deal with this legally and have escalated the same to our lawyer. We will be updating you shortly (sic).”

Earlier while reacting to Yash's first tweet regarding the dispute, Ena Saha, who plays the lead opposite Yash in the film, said at a conference that she holds no grudges against Yash and his decision. But, she is upset with since they have been friends since her first film, SOS Kolkata.
