Yash meets his childhood friend after 15 years
Yash Dasgupta is a happy soul. He had gone to Patna by road on Sunday to meet his childhood friend, Asish Bisht. “I met Asish after 15 long years. And there was so much to talk. We were para friends and all the mischiefs we used to do together! I had some clothes in his house and so did Asish, as even our parents didn’t know where we will end up sleeping at night.

We bonded more on our love for dogs. Both of us are health freaks. Then both Asish and I got busy with our careers. He went abroad for a job and I was in Mumbai and then in Kolkata trying my luck in films. All this while we use to talk over phone and messaged each other to stay updated. After so many years, we met again. We couldn’t speak for few minutes when we met,” said Yash adding, “Amidst the adda, we forgot to click a selfie. We realised that later.”
On the work front, Yash was last seen opposite Mimi Chakraborty in Mon Jaane Na, which revolves around the vicious circle of drug addiction and it’s detrimental impact on the life of a young couple. It portrays the harsh reality of a drug user who ends up losing her sanity and loses touch with reality. The character, Pari (played by Mimi) becomes a puppet in the hands of the substance that controls her and her emotions. It also gives the message that timely rehabilitation and unconditional love and support from near and dear ones helps an individual overcome this situation.
About future projects, the actor said, “I am reading scripts now and will start shooting from next month. But before that, I am going on a vacation to Bali, as my mother is now better than before.”
