After
SOS Kolkata
,
Yash Dasgupta and
Ena Saha are coming together yet again for director
Shieladitya Moulik’s Cheene Badaam, a new-age love story. Shooting will start from September 16 and the film will be shot in and around Kolkata. Confirming the news,
Yash said, “Yes, I am doing Shieladitya’s film. But I can’t divulge further details as I am contract-bound. I have watched Sweater which Shieladitya has directed and quite liked it. With Ena (picture below), I worked in SOS Kolkata, so I am looking forward to working with her again.”
Talking about the storyline of the film, the director said, “It is a contemporary love story with which the audience will be able to relate. In today’s world, we are all addicted to our mobile phones and it also affects relationships in a big way. The human touch or the warmth in a relationship is missing today because of mobile phone as most of us consciously or unconsciously are addicted to it. The film revolves around this concept. Rishab (Yash) is a guy who has just come back to Kolkata after completing his studies abroad. After coming back, a clash develops between Rishab and Trishna (Ena) as Rishab fails to balance his professional and personal life. What happens in the end form the crux of this film.”
