Yash Dasgupta and
Mimi Chakraborty fans. The lead jodi of 2016 hit ‘Gangster’ is all set to reunite in an upcoming romantic comedy under the banner of SVF. This yet to be titled film will be helmed by
Pathikrit Basu whose last film “Haripada Bandwala” received a mixed review.
Yash appeared as an action hero in his last two films but now it’s time for him to delve into a new avatar. He will be seen doing comedy also. Last time Mimi and Yash gained a huge fan following with their on-screen chemistry. So expectations are high this time also.
Jeet Gannguli has composed the music for this romantic flick.
The story reportedly revolves around a college student from North Kolkata (played by Yash) who falls in love with a girl (played by Mimi) who is the daughter of the principal of the college (played by
Rajatava Dutta). The boy with his lady luck goes through a lot of change in life and finally succeeds in his career.
The shooting of this film is at the last stage and the makers are expecting a summer release.
