Says Buddhadeb, We are staying in Purulia and shooting in a place called Kashipur. The other day, we got a call from an unknown number asking how we can proceed with the shoot even when the Maoists had called a bandh in that area. Subsequently, our local coordinator informed us that the Maoists would not raise any protest even if we continued with the shooting on a bandh day. Thankfully, we have been able to shoot peacefully. The unit of Woh will continue shooting in Kashipur till Valentines Day and, then, shift to shoot in Purulia.
Raj Zutshi, who is essaying the role of Woh, will be joining the unit on February 9. I am waiting for Raj to join the shoot. Barun Chanda, who plays the grandfather in the film, looks the part. He will justify the role, the director concludes, before getting busy with his shoot.
