himself has said many times that it would be a privilege for him to play Feluda on the big screen, more especially in a Sandip Ray film.

Interestingly, Tota has shared an interesting point; will Anirban really be the next Feluda? He says after the well-known production house announced the release date of as many as 8 upcoming films the directors and actors from these 8 films started sharing the posters and first-look posters of the films on their social media timeline. And, on this list, Anirban Bhattacharya is also present since among the eight films his next directorial ‘Ballavpurer Rupkatha is also there.

For the unversed, Abir Chatterjee who will reprise his role in Arindam Sil’s next Byomkesh film as the Bengali sleuth was last seen as Feluda in Sandip Ray’s last Feluda film.

He’s eager to play Feluda in Sandip Ray’s film but Tota says Anirban would be a great choice since he has shared the screen with the actor in Birsa Dasgupta’s thriller ‘Mukhosh’. “Now, every Bengali has accepted Abir as Byomkesh, so I will be happy to see Anirban as the new Feluda,” adds Tota.
