Sudiptaa Chakraborty was dying to return home after a 12-day schedule in Mahishadal Rajbari. Reason? Her young daughter, Shaheeda! Story goes that Sudiptaa was shooting for Suman Ghosh’s Basu Paribar with Soumitra Chatterjee, Aparna Sen, Saswata Chatterjee, Jisshu U Sengupta, Rituparna Sengupta, Kaushik Sen and others, and had no time for her little one amidst the rigorous outdoor schedule.The powerful actress, who plays wife to Kaushik in the movie, has many layers to her character.

A loving wife, her relationship with her husband takes a turn once the family comes together to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of Soumitra and Aparna. A relationship saga, the film is about the many interpersonal connections between family members. Busy with her shoot, every time Sudiptaa would call home, Shaheeda would break into the same question, “Maa kobe ashchho?” The actress is relieved that finally she can be with her daughter. After all, home is where the heart is.
