Why is Darshana Banik off to Bangladesh?

Model-actress Darshana Banik is off to Bangladesh to shoot for a new film. The film, titled Antaratma, stars popular Bangladeshi actor Shakib Khan as the male lead. Sharing her excitement to work in this new project, Darshana said, “It’s for the first time that I’ll be working with Shakib Khan. He is a rage in Bangladesh and I am glad to be playing the female lead opposite him. I love coming to Dhaka, as the people here are so welcoming. Also, I get to gorge on so many yummy dishes every time I am here.”
Darshana’s character in the film is quite different from what she has portrayed earlier in her career. “There are different shades to my character and it’s going to be quite challenging for me to pull off this role. I can’t divulge much now. The film is all set to release during Eid this year,” said the actress.
Darshana’s another Bangladeshi project, Operation Sunderban, will also be releasing on Eid, 2021.
