Why does Saayoni Ghosh dislike going to wedding?

Saayoni Ghosh can relate to her character in Subhendhu Pandit’s Wrong Number very well. “The film is all about a wrong connection in love. And in real life too, it happens with me all the time. I can identify with the character so well. So, I have decided not to date anyone as somehow or the other, I lose interest after a few days. So, it is better to get married after five years and settle down in life. I love to eat at any wedding invitations, but my problem is I can’t be portion conscious when it comes to food and I refuse to eat mutton or chicken with a fork. As some people that know I am an actress, they look at my plate and I feel conscious and can’t eat to my heart’s content. So I have stopped going to weddings. Another reason for me not attending marriages is that my parents will invariably say, everyone is getting married other than their daughter. So, it is better to give it a miss,” said the actress who is shooting for Bhromodoityo. The actress is also part of films like Adda and Rohoshyo Romancho series.Saayoni will start shooting for Anjan Kanjilal’s debut film, Sahobase from the end of May. Stress, long working hours, hectic schedules have made the lives of Indian youths disoriented. The film is on today’s generation and their insecurities and compared to that of yesteryears.“I play a corporate honcho in Sahobase who wants to climb the ladder. She is focused in her life and is ambitious too. She develops a relationship with her colleague, but her career is more important than the relationship,” said the actress.
