Why do outdoor shoots make Sudiptaa sad?
Earlier, Sudiptaa Chakraborty used to be happy with outdoor shoots, but now, they make her sad. “Before my daughter was born, I used to be on cloud nine at the news of outdoor shoots. But now, things are different. I become sad when I hear that I have to go outdoors. Staying without her for one day is a huge task for me. I really lose count of how many times I make a video call to see and talk to her,” said the actress, who will go to Bolpur for nine days on Saturday to shoot for Soukarya Ghosal’s Bhoot Pori.

“My daughter is not liking the fact that I am going away for so many days. She is constantly asking me not to go. And I heard from the team that the location where we will be shooting is in the middle of a jungle in Bolpur and the network connectivity is very poor,” said Sudiptaa, who plays the mother of the protagonist.
Bhoot Pori is a biography of a ghost. A woman who died in the year of 1947 meets a boy in 2019. With the help of the boy, the ghost comes to know about her death. It was not a death but a murder. Now the little boy helps the ghost to find her murderer. “A little boy suffering from chronic sleepwalking, encounters a ghost who’s trapped in a time warp for 70 years and discovers they both see a common dream. The story and script is beautiful. This is the first time I will be working with Soukarya. I loved his debut film, Rainbow Jelly,” said the actress.
