Whenever I come to Kolkata, I love gorging on Bengali food: Naina Ganguly
The homecoming, and especially when it's winter in Kolkata, is always special. Actress Naina Ganguly, who travels the year round for work, was recently in the city and vouches for the same. "No matter wherever I travel to and whatever beautiful experiences I have, Kolkata is home. I enjoy coming back here each time, though off late it has been for work only," she said.
The actress is happy that this year her work assignments made her visit Kolkata twice - once in July and again this December. "It was a starkly different ambience when I visited the city in July. There was the after-effect of lockdown and certain places were still closed. So, access for shooting was difficult. There was hardly any person, let alone woman, at the airport or on the road apart from me. But now it seems things are back to normal. I was mostly working both the times but got to spend time with family too," Naina said.
Ask her how was her stay this time around and the actress is all smiles about the time spent with family. "Whenever I come home, I love gorging on Bengali food. Since in Mumbai, I have to do my cooking, when home I am pampered silly. I have a working mother but still she found out time for me to cook my favourite aloo diye mutton, fish curry, and bring me laddoo snd rosogolla every day. We are three sisters and I am the youngest.
