Turning 18! When celebs confessed about their crazy adventures

Turning 18 is no doubt exciting, but it also brings in a lot of responsibilities. It seems a door has just been opened to a different world of fun, but this time, it’s a lot more grownup one, ‘once believed to be taboo’ kind of fun, which makes life much more exhilarating. Just like their countless fans, celebrities are also human beings. So, they, too, have witnessed this phase. Here is a look at those crazy adventure memories of our very own Tollywood celebs when they turned 18.

2/8

Nusrat Jahan

Nusrat Jahan got her driver’s license at 18 and it encouraged her to get behind the wheel of a friend’s car but unfortunately ended up scraping it. She had taken the car out for an adventurous ride. As one car was coming from the opposite direction, Nusrat got panicked and hit the accelerator. Also, 18 made her feel like she has grown up. So when a guy in college messed with the rear-view mirror of her Scooty, she straight away punched him hard.

3/8

Raima Sen

Just like many others, turning 18 was young Raima’s ticket to trying out everything which looked adventurous. So, she went to Chicago and enjoyed a skydiving session, that too alone! For Raima, it was the most liberating and exhilarating feeling she enjoyed so far. She admits it felt like she had conquered the world!

4/8

Tnusree Chakraborty

Turning 18 was really special for Tonushree. It was like a transition period when the young actress started taking life more seriously. She became more responsible and already started thinking about how to build her career. Tnusree started modeling at only 18. She belongs to a conservative family, so initially they were not happy about it but later accepted the reality. In an interview once the actor revealed that at 18, she had her first ‘late-night party’ with a group of friends. The emotions she felt at the party were unbelievable. It seemed like a mix of excitement and anxiety. She was excited about having a gala time with friends, and was equally tensed as her parents knew she had gone out for just dinner.

5/8

Swastika Mukherjee

Swastika Mukherjee got pregnant when she turned only 18. Swastika believes her daughter is a millennium child and admits since Mani was born in January, many people who were having babies that time in January were actually naming their kids Millennium! Those days of early motherhood were quite adventurous for the adorable actress.

6/8

Rituparna Sengupta

Rituparna once told in an interview, eighteen was something special for her, "I went for a three-night camping trip to Bangalore with her close friends." It was the first time she was having a trip without family and during that time her aunt gifted a beautiful watch. It was the first watch Rituparna ever owned.

7/8

Koel Mallick

Koel often used to take a minibus, from her college, Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College, to her Tollygunge home. In her college days, family car used to come to pick her up mostly by the end of seventh or eighth period, but there were occasions when Koel’s classes would end earlier. On those days, she would leave the college premises with a group of friends and board a crowded minibus. It’s true there wwas a lot of jostling and sometimes she had no other choice but to hang from the bus door as there was no space inside! It was quite a thrilling journey for the actress. Interestingly her father Ranjit Mallick didn’t know any of this, and Koel would keep lying to him that one of her close friends used to drop her at home.

Prosenjit Chatterjee

Prosenjit Chatterjee’s ‘jiban juddho’ started at an early age of only 18. A young Bumba was already focused on his career. Most of us enjoy ourselves when we turn 18 such as hanging out with buddies, watch movies but for a teenage Prosenjit life was different. He had already taken up the responsibilities of the family on his shoulder and started planning about how to build his career. The Tollywood superstar still believes those things he did at 18, it actually helped him grow as a person and became mature, responsible.
