Finally it’s happening!
Parambrata Chatterjee is directing his long-time friend
Koel Mallick. The film is a sci-fi titled ‘Bony’ which sees Param both directing and acting in it. The pair will be seen as a young couple Sabyasachi and Pratibha. So, how’s is it like to direct your co-actor and a close friend, we asked the actor-director. Parambrata says it’s spontaneous.
“As a co-actor, when you have worked with someone for a few films you can understand what it would be to direct that same person and Koel is highly focused and co-operative,” explained an excited Parambrata.
Currently the shoot is in full swing in Milan, Italy and the director says they wanted to shoot somewhere in Europe where there’s a booming industrial and IT sector as per requirement of the narrative: “We were looking for a place in Europe where there’s a booming industrial and IT sector and Milan is a perfect fit. At the same time it’s also convenient for us to shoot there.”
The upcoming sci-fi thriller, being produced by Surinder Films, also stars
Anjan Dutt and
Kanchan Mullick in key roles.
