’ turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2018, his upcoming ‘
Kishore Kumar Junior
’ has already intrigued Bengali movie buffs. Interestingly, both are directed by
Kaushik Ganguly. The Tollywood superstar has two more interesting projects in the pipeline.
While speaking about his future projects Prosenjit revealed: “I will work with Srijit once again in his next project ‘Gumnami Baba’, a controversial character which has always appealed to the Bengali sentiment. It’s sort of a biopic. We have already seen the sensation around it since the announcement. It will be an interesting one to portray double role of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and
Gumnami Baba
. After that I have Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Jestho Putro’, my third film with him. Actually the story idea is of
Rituparno Ghosh’s. He wanted to make it when I was doing ‘Autograph’, so I couldn’t give time back then.”
‘Kishore Kumar Junior’ will hit the theatres on October 12.
