What’s next for actress Rukmini Maitra?

We have so far seen Rukmini Maitra in three of Dev’s last films which were a bit ‘hatke’ instead of commercial pot boilers. While she made her debut with Raj Chakraborty directed ‘Chaamp’ in 2017, her next two films were ‘Cockpit’ and ‘Kabir’. Since all these films were with Dev, a general perception developed that she wants to work with only her rumoured boyfriend Dev.
However, Rukmini has her own say in this regard and the Bengali diva has ruled out any such notion.“I have read as many as 21 scripts in recent past and have also zeroed down 4. But I get confused as most of the scripts look like a story book to me. So, I often reach out to Dev and Kamalda (director Kamaleshwar Mukherjee) for suggestions and both of them has advised me to accept offers cautiously,” said the actress.
Meanwhile, in Dev’s upcoming ‘Hoichoi Unlimited’, Rukmini has donned a new hat as she is the co-producer of the comedy caper.
