What’s keeping Chitrangada busy?

Talented actress Chitrangada Satarupa is enjoying her winter holidays in Kolkata to the fullest. She recently conducted a two-day acting workshop in Kolkata for performing artistes. The two sets of four-hour long workshops were a big hit.

“In Mumbai, there are plenty of workshops happening almost every other day. Here, there is a big scope for it. While my workshops are for actors and actresses, any performing artiste can join in. Over the years, I learnt a lot in terms of performance. I want to share what I have learnt so far,” said Chitrangada explaining the reason behind this workshop.

These workshops aim at helping artistes get rid of their inhibitions. “Boosting confidence is a cliché thing to say. But I come across many young artistes who are actually very shy. My objective is to make them feel free while performing,” Chitrangada added.

Earlier in November, the young actress was in Kolkata to attend the 2019

’, which premiered at KIFF and got the NETPAC Award for Best Film. While the director went back to Mumbai after the screening, the actress received the award.
