Director Soumitra Bagchi is peeved with the news that Raja Chanda���������s next film ��������� ���������Le Halwa Le��������� with Mithun Chakraborty, Soham, Hiran and Payel - ������has a title that sounds very similar to the one he has decided upon for his movie.Some months back, Soumitra had announced that he would be making a comedy titled ���������Le Halwa���������.
Though Soumitra has not yet been able to begin his movie, he is afraid that the similarity in titles of his and Raja Chanda���������s films will not go down very well with the audience. ���������I am told that my producer had been asked to surrender the title of my movie. Now, I hear that some production is underway with a similar name. Is it bankruptcy of ideas or unethical attitude? My film has suffered an inadvertent and unforeseen delay and is likely to resume anytime soon. I can only sincerely hope that this indifference shall be avoided and we can expect a healthier environment for nurturing creativity and sensibility. I can also suggest a few better titles like ���������Pather Panchali Le���������, ���������Autograph Le��������� or, for that matter, ���������Kuch Bhi Le Lekin Le Halwa Mat Le���������," Soumitra says.
