“I used to practice yoga and some other exercises to keep my body in shape. I was so busy for the last 12 months or so, my nutrition intake suffered a lot. So, I got in touch with nutritionist Pooja Agarwal to take care of my nutrition during the lockdown. Thankfully, I am much fitter now. Meditation has also been in daily routine since I was feeling so down at times. I also spent quite a lot of time with family… my daughter is staying here with me now. It was amazing spending some quality time with her. I did a lot of cooking as well to brush up my skills. I wasn’t into cooking for some time but now I did it. Plus working on my acting skills was necessary so I used to rehearse in front of the mirror saying my lines according to different situations.
Incidentally Richa shot a lockdown video with Prosenjit Chatterjee called ‘Panah — Protect Her’. “Director Joydeep Sen told me he had this idea of making avideo in mind for quite some time and he was keen to see me playing a part in it. D&G Films produced it as they are quite popular in making these kind of causes. They reached out to Prosenjit who instantly said yes to it. It’s a beautiful story about a working girl and Prosenjit plays my boss in the film,” said Richa who will next be seen in a film directed by Raajorshee De.
