Nusrat’s witty answer to questions on her baby’s father
It was
Nusrat Jahan’s first public appearance this week after giving birth to her first child. The actor-politician was blessed with a baby boy on August 26. Interestingly, within weeks, the actress has decided to resume work. It’s also for the first time Nusrat publicly spoke about her child's father while addressing the media. Only a few days ago her Instagram post did all the talking against those who has constantly criticized her since her pregnancy news broke out. Now, when asked about when one can get the first glimpse of the baby boy Yishaan the actress had a witty answer. She said, "You have to ask his father that. Right now he is not letting anyone see him." Interestingly, when asked about her child’s father’s name she added, “The baby’s father only knows it. At the moment we are enjoying our parenthood. Both me and Yash are having a good time.”
It’s some ‘me-time’ for Srabanti more than ever
Srabanti Chatterjee who’s having a gala time with her back to back vacation says she has learned to be patient and is now more focused on giving some me time to herself. Srabnati took the internet by storm recently sharing her gorgeous Maldives vacation pictures. Interestingly, she returned from her seaside vacation only to go for yet another jungle trip. She even shared an interesting video from her jungle trip on social media. “This pandemic has taught me to be more patient. Also, I have realized the importance of me time in life. So I am working on it as well. During the pandemic, we all have been more or less irregular about diets and fitness. Now, it’s high time to get back to our healthy lifestyle, especially when I have sharted working again,” shares Srabanti who will be seen in a cameo in Dev-Rukmini starrer ‘Kishmish’.
Debojyoti Mishra wins best music director award for ‘Bansuri’
It’s not often you get the chance to represent your country on international platforms and when you get the chance it’s indeed a moment of pride and honour. And, the celebration doubles up when you win a prestigious award. That’s how ace composer Debojyoti Mishra is on cloud nine. He has just won the Best Music Director award for ‘Bansuri’ at the 20th Imagine India Film Festival in Madrid. Debojyoti competed for this award with highly acclaimed Taras Dron for ‘Blindfold’ and Esmaeel Monsef for ‘Charcoal’. Debajyoti with his distinct international edge has always fashioned his musical orientation through diverse influences including western and eastern classical music, folk and post-modern music; thus blessing his creation with a symphonic dynamism.
Shieladitya announces his next film ‘Lukochuri’
Shieladitya Moulik is on a roll! After completing the shoot of ‘Radio’ he has already started working on yet another film titled ‘Lukochuri’. However, this time his casting sees relatively new faces. Actors Rajdeep Deb and Angana Roy will pair up for the first time in the lead. While Angana has worked in a few commercial ad films and web series, Rajdeep has done workshops for the film. Aparna Sen’s film on existential crisis to compete in Busan
Aparna Sen’s next film ‘The Rapist’ which stars her daughter Konkona Sen Sharma as one of the leads will soon compete for a prestigious award at the Busan International Film Festival. The social drama will be screened at A Window on Asian Cinema segment and will compete with 6 other films for the Kim Joseok Award. ‘The Rapist’ also stars Arjun Rampal and Tanmay Dhanania in the lead. It’s a striking story of a trio and how their lives get connected after one horrific incident. The film dives deep inside the dark alleys of an obvious crime, exploring not just how it traumatizes the victims, but also perpetrators of the crime. It will shed light on one's idealistic views and how they are drastically altered when a truth comes knocking on the door.
