Watch: Team ‘Mayurakshi’ celebrate their film's success

It’s time for celebration for team ‘Mayurakshi’. The Atanu Ghosh directorial recently won the National Award for the best Bengali Film of the year. It has already completed 100 days at the box office and is still running successfully. The Soumitra Chatterjee - Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer is even giving a tough time to many other latest releases.
To celebrate the recent success, the cast and crew members of ‘Mayurakshi’ had a grand get together.Director Atanu Ghosh, music director Debojyoti Mishra, lead actor Prosenjit Chatterjee; all were present at the event and even got together for special cake cutting ceremony. However, veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee had to skip the event due to personal reasons.

Prosenjeet's brilliant acting chops along with Soumitra Chatterjee and the supporting cast's performances, the film has amazed many people not just in Bengal but all over the country.
‘Mayurakshi’ is about a father-son relationship affected by long distance and the events that follow when the son gives his 84-year-old father a surprise visit only to realise he is gradually slipping into dementia.
