Nusrat Jahan recently visited a masjid to offer her prayers and also ‘find peace’, especially after her name was dragged into a fraud case earlier this month. The actor-MP dropped a video from her visit to the masjid as she chose a simple ethnic out for the day out. Sharing the video on her Instagram handle Nusrat captioned the post, “You’ll always find peace and glory at The Almighty’s .”
The post grabbed everyone’s attention instantly. However, little did she know that the video will attract so much hatred. Many started trolling Nusrat for her alleged involvement in the financial fraud case.
Amidst the allegations of being associated with a real estate company that claimed to have duped several investors, The Basirhat MP Nusrat Jahan denied any allegation of wrongdoing at a press conference and said that she had resigned from the firm in March 2017. However, during the press meet her behavior towards the media further sparked controversy.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nusrat is currently shooting for her next film ‘Mentaal’ with her real-life partner Yash Dasgupta. She is also playing a key role in the upcoming romantic thriller ‘Shikarr’ which again stars Yash in the lead.
