Vikram Chatterjee starrer movie Pariah, unveiled its teaser today on social media today. Vikram posted the teaser on his social media handles, and captioned it, “The history of the deprived has always been written with blood.”
It is an 80-second video that features a nameless, ostracised man standing up against the cruelty of native dogs in human society. Indian native dogs which also are known as pariah have no home, no shelter, and no identity. There is only one man, who will stand up for all the pariahs, shout, say "As much blood as they shed, as much blood as they have inflicted on them, they will be killed."
The film is directed by Tathagata Mukherjee and is a tale of a socially displaced man and his journey of becoming the refuge for stray dogs, who are nameless, and clan-less just like him. “While participating in various social activities, I have seen the amount of torture and pain animals go through. My film Pariah is a story of protest against injustice to these street animals”, said Tathagata.
