Viewers to get fresh slate of fiction, reality shows and films
A new Bengali general entertainment channel is set to bring in a mix of fiction, non-fiction and film programming for its audience.
Special Investigative Team (SIT) – Bengal follows DCP Indrajit Basak, portrayed by Rishi Kaushik, who juggles intense crime cases with his personal life. Basabdutta Chatterjee and Trishanjit Chowdhury co-star.
The non-fiction line-up includes Sonar Shokal , a daily musical morning show hosted by Aditi Munshi; Sonar Jalshaghar , featuring children performing jugalbandis in pairs of singers and instrumentalists; and Dos Din e Dos Lakh , a couple-based comedy competition hosted by Vikram Chatterjee and Oindrila Sen.
