’ sees him as Modhu. When he started working on his character, Ritwick was completely in dark. How he would portray the character? But bringing life to the character Modhu and slipping into it has matured him a lot.
Ahead of Nagarkirtan’s release, here’s a behind-the-scene video where Ritwick shares his experience of working in ‘Nagarkirtan’ how he completely surrendered to the character.

“I think after the love story of Puti and Modhu people will be much more sensible, they will be able to relate to it. We have seen the transgenders knock the car windows in traffic signals and we try to push them away, see these people like a weed of the society. But from now on there will be a change. See, these verdicts can never change a people, there has to be an awareness. Like here in ‘Nagarkirtan’, the audience won’t be able to realize when they will start feeling for Puti, despite she is a
transgender. Love has no gender, no language, no religion. Love itself is a medium to enlighten our soul. So, I will request everyone to watch ‘Nagarkirtan’ and only then we can say our hard work has paid off,” says the versatile actor who thanks Kaushik Ganguly for giving him this character in ‘Nagarkirtan’.
