Veteran actor
Nimu Bhowmik
has been admitted to a city private hospital due to deteriorating health condition. The 88-year-old actor has been suffering from age-related illness for months.
He was first admitted to a private nursing home last month but then was sifted to another hospital as there were major nerve problems. He was also being treated for a urine infection. As Nimu Bhowmik’s health condition got worse he was once again shifted to another private nursing home and right now he is under observation there.
Although the situation has improved a bit but the veteran actor is still not out of danger. However, he has spoken to some of his family members and can recognize them as well. Doctors are expecting a steady recovery now.
Born in Dinajpur in 1935, Nimu Bhowmik is known for his powerful performances in many hit Bengali movies like Ganadebota,
