Ushasi excited to be a part of Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s comic thriller

Iskaboner Rani

, directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee. The short film also stars actor Kanchan Mullick. Talking about the project, Ushasi said, “Iskaboner Rani is a comic thriller and its trailer released recently. I have been getting a lot of positive feedback about it. My character is a comic one and it’s for the first time that I am exploring this genre. It is a very different character from what I have played so far in my career.”

Ushasi also collaborated with Abhimanyu and Kanchan for the first time in this project. “My experience of working with both of them has been fantastic. Abhi Da is such an amazing director. He is very friendly and I am glad that he cast me in this role. And with Kanchan Da, it was a great learning experience too. I have known him for many years and have been seeing his work since my childhood. It was like a dream come true for me to work with him,” added the actress.
