‘Uraan’ first-look poster out now

And now the first look poster from ‘Uraan’ is here and Srabanti in a red saree against a red backdrop looks drop dead gorgeous. Check out the poster here:
Interestingly, this film has a Bollywood connection. Well, Raman has teamed up with renowned cinematographer Arvind K who has shot Bollywood hits like ‘Gnagaajal’, ‘Apharan’ and ‘Mrityudand’.

Shaheb who recently finished dubbing for ‘Uraan’, says films like this should be made more often. “The film is about how arsenic is poisoning the water of a village. Water preservation is a very vital issue today and the film deals with this subject. It was a pleasure working with Srabanti as she is so much fun on the sets,” said the talented actor.

The social drama has been shot in and around Kolkata. The script and dialogues of ‘Uraan’ are by Padmanabha Dasgupta while Arghakamal Mitra is the editor. Joy Sarkar is composing the music and lyrics are by
