Unseen pictures of Dev and Rukmini

Dev and Rukmini Maitra turn heads both on and off screen. Their last release together was Aniket Chattopadhyay’s Kabir — about a young woman called Yasmin (Rukmini) who is held hostage by a certain Abir Chatterjee (Dev) in the guise of a terrorist. Their latest, Kidnap, also has an exciting storyline. In the film, Dev plays a DJ, Deep, in Malaysia and Rukmini is a photo journalist — Meghna.They bump into each other at a pub, where some illegal activities were going on. Meghna takes a photo of what she comes across and becomes the target of a gang.
When the goons attack Meghna, Deep rescues her. They soon fall in Love. But as luck would have it, Meghna gets kidnapped by the gang and the story takes a turn from there. How Deep defeats the entire team of kidnappers is what the film is all about. Directed by Raja Chanda, the film has music by Jeet Gannguli. The other cast members include Sahidur Rahman, Chandan Sen, Sriparna Roy, Prantik Banerjee, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and Ashim Roy Chowdhury.
