Two films addressing serious social issues announced

Two upcoming Bengali films addressing serious social issues were announced recently in presence of the cast and the crew. Titled ‘

Hidden Story

’ and ‘

Syndicate

’, both are being made under the banner of Bose Creative Media.

‘Hidden Story’ will be directed by

Suman Dutta Majumder

Bodhisatya Majumder

, Sudip, Kanchana, Santana Bose and others will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film. The story unmasks those who under false pretences promise many young aspiring talents of giving them a chance to feature in films. The story follows such an evil manager and a cinematographer cheating a group of young talents Arpita, Olivia, Sayantani and Simran with their web of lies and deception. However, one of them is hell bent on avenging for what they did in the past.

The second film, ‘Syndicate’, is directed by

Sankar Dey

(Prodip). The story, script and dialogue are by Bhaskar. The film explores the dark side of the society. Four young men from different strata of the society want to establish in life and they can go to any extent to achieve their goals. However, the deeds of some influential people in the society, they end up being anti-socials. Syndicate shows how the young generation is being exploited and how they struggle for existence.

Both the film’s shooting will start soon.
