Trina Saha backs out of 'Gobhir Joler Mach' second season

The first season of Sahana Dutta's series 'Gobhir Joler Mach' was a decent success and it paved the way for an eagerly awaited second installment. The shooting for the second season is set to commence in the coming months, with a possible release slated for next year.
The first season presented an intriguing narrative revolving around four women, portrayed by Ushasi Ray, Swastika Dutta, Trina Saha, and Ananya Sen.The mysterious death of Ananya's character threw the other three and their spouses into the spotlight, marking them as persons of interest in a riveting investigation.
However, the upcoming season will witness a change in the cast. Trina Saha has officially announced her exit from the show, citing a conflicting commitment that requires her full concentration. As per Trina’s version, despite discussions with Sahana Dutta and the rest of the team, the shoot's schedule won’t allow her to balance both engagements.
The plot of 'Gobhir Joler Mach' is intriguing, showcasing the multifaceted lives of four friends navigating both their personal and professional spheres. The story takes a dramatic turn when a lighthearted game of switching husbands spirals into danger. Alongside the talented female leads, the series boasts performances from Rajdeep Gupta, Prantik Bandyopadhyay, Soumya Bandyopadhyay, and Judhajit Sarkar.

Simultaneously, Trina Saha has been busy with a film project, sharing screen space with Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Rajat Ganguly, and others. The narrative of the film revolves around an orphanage, tracing the lives of its children who return to their childhood abode after setting out on individual paths in life. Actor Neel Bhattacharya, Trina's real-life husband, also makes a cameo in this poignant tale.

For the unversed, Trina decided to leave another web series 'Matangi' a few days ago due to her differences with co-actor Sohini Sarkar.
