Tribute to the post card era

The first look of Anindya Chattopadhyay’s Monojder Adbhut Bari brings back memories of an era when postcards were the most viable mode of long-distance communication. With the picture of a zamindar household and stamp of a tiger, it also bears the film’s release date — 12.10.18. Based on Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay’s eponymous novel, the Puja release stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Sandhya Roy, Bratya Basu, Silajit, Purab Seal Acharya and Soham Moitra. Abir Chatterjee, who has a cameo in the film, has also rendered a special song.
