Tota to play parallel lead in Nawazuddin film

The unit of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz might have got into a mess, but that didn't stop director Kushan Nandy from spotting talents in Bengal.
He has roped in Tota Roy Choudhury to play a parallel lead to Nawazuddin Siddiqui .Other actors from Bengal Roopa Ganguly and Biswajit Chakraborty too are part of the cast.
Says a source close to the unit, ���Though shooting has been stalled currently and the unit is moving out of Bengal, Tota is already on board.He plays Das Babu, son of a zamindar, who aims to enter politics. He hires bandookbaaz Nawazuddin to wipe off his enemies. It's a challenging role and Tota was on the mind of the director for long."
Though Tota's dates are yet to be blocked because of the current impasse, he is likely to shoot his portions in Mumbai. The actor, who recently shot for Sujoy Ghosh's short film with Soumitra Chatterjee, could not be reached.
