Tota Roy Chowdhury turns a year younger

It’s Tota Roy Chowdhury’s birthday and the actor spent the whole day with his family. While he is gearing up to cut a birthday cake, his mother has made paayesh for him.
Tota started his day early. “Every birthday, for past five years, I visit the Dakshineswar Temple. This year too I got up at 4:30 am and went there to offer puja and seek blessings. Initially, I was heartbroken as I thought the new lockdown was starting from today.But later, I was told that I could go. It was like a divine intervention,” the actor said.
While he celebrated the birthday on Thursday, the main feast is on Sunday. “On Thursdays, I eat vegetarian food. And it is also a week day. If I eat too much, I’ll not be able to work the next day. On Sunday, the menu will be grand and a variety of sweets will feature on it. All this workout that you see me doing is so that I could gorge on sweets,” he said with a smile.
An avid reader that he is, Tota insists people on gifting him books. “I’ll unwrap and check how many books I got this year,” he said
