Tollywood has been struck by news of ‘Baga Jatin’ director Arun Roy’s cancer diagnosis. The acclaimed director, currently keeping busy with his much-anticipated movie ‘Bagha Jatin’, is grappling with throat cancer.
The film's lead actor and producer, Dev, who stars in ‘Bagha Jatin’, has pledged unwavering support for Roy's treatment during this challenging time.According to a report, Arun Roy is contending with throat cancer. The director's response to his diagnosis has been remarkably pragmatic. He believes that cancer is no longer the formidable disease it once was, given the advancements in medical treatments. In his words, "Cancer is not a big disease these days. At least not to me, lots of people are having it, and now it's my turn." Roy has already commenced treatment at the Tata Medical Center, with chemotherapy sessions set to begin next week. A total of 16 chemotherapies are planned.
