The documentary, directed by Pratik Das, showcases Goutam Bandopadhyay, the son of the iconic actor, who expresses his gratitude on his father's 100th birthday and how his days spent with his father bring back lovely memories. Along with him, the video has some of the well-known personalities from the Tollywood film industry, who talk about how Bhanu Bandopadhyay had inspired and enriched their minds through his performances.
Veteran actors like Sabitri Chattopadhyay, Paran Bandopadhyay, Subhashis Mukhopadhyay, Lily Chakraborty, Biplab Chatterjee, Goutam Halder, apart from Saswata Chatterjee, Kanchan Mallik, Meghnad Bhattacharjee and Debabrata Sarkar.
Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, who is also a part of the tribute video, said, “Bhanu jethu isn't just a comedian to me, he is much more than that. His fraction of a second reactions, the ones that made his famous lines like ‘Masima Malpua Khamu’ memorable also speaks volumes about the complete actor that he was.”
When actress Sabitri Chatterjee was in class 10, she was noticed by Bhanu, who selected her for a role in Natun Ihudi, a play by Uttar Sarathi group theatre based on the refugees from East Pakistan. Remembering that day, Sabitri said, "Once, when I was returning from school, Bhanuda caught me in the middle of the road and asked me if I wanted to act in his theatre company. I told him to speak to my father and he did, thus kick-starting my journey into acting."
