from Kolkata, such as, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, Ram Chatterjee and Gopal Mukherjee, protested against Jinnah in order to stop the partition of West Bengal and Pakistan. The film also has angle of love, that will brew between a Hindu and a Muslim. The starcast includes

, Supriya Devi, Sudip Mukherjee, Biplop Chatterjee, Sanghamitra Banerjee, Joy Badlani, Kharaj Mukherjee, Lili Chakraborty, Rita Koiral and Biswajit Chakraborty.
The director said, "I want to showcase the picture in such a way that today's youth can connect to it easily. Right from set designing to costumes, I am trying keep the flavour of ore-independence time, as much as possible."
