Tnusree Chakraborty had a busy week as her mother had a knee surgery recently and now she is back home. “Last week, I was too busy with my film, Samsara releasing and ma too was hospitalised for an operation. Now, she is back home and needs lot of care. Plus I had other commitments too. All I need now is some sleep,” said the actor.
Today being Friendship Day, Tnusree said she is blessed to have some true friends in her life.
“Abhijit Chanda, Priyanka Rati Pal, Aniruddha Chakladhar — we four are best of friends and are there for each other through thick and thin,” said the actor.
Tnusree is also part of Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha’s film Samsara, where she plays Mouma. “I play Ritwick’s (Chakraborty) wife, who is separated from him. Ritwick can’t forget her, though she has moved on. This is my second film with the director-duo after Cross Connection 2. Mine is a guest appearance in Samsara and I am happy to work with this wonderful team,” said Tnusree.
Samsara is a story of three school friends who meet up after about 18 years. One of them is a businessman, the other runs his in-laws’ business and third one is a writer who has a writer’s block. He asks his old friends for help. The three friends embark on a journey and land up in a strange place where they meet people who are lookalikes from their past. What happens next is what this psychological thriller all about.
