in
Argha Deep Chatterjee’s relationship drama ‘Chiro Sakha Hey’ set in North Bengal.
Mithu Chakraborty and
Barun Chanda are also playing key roles in the film.
The story revolves around Ishan, a young lad belonging to a ‘Bonedi Bengali’ family who lost his father when he was a child. Around two years ago, Ishaan had moved from Kolkata to North Bengal with his Uncle Sibasish and mother Aloka. By profession, his Uncle is a lawyer. Ishaan on the other hand is a freelance photographer who is also quite skilled at painting.
Meanwhile, Tilottoma is a woman widowed by the death of her husband seven years ago whose life is dawned by the presence of her tragic past. When Tillotoma had started to lose all hope, Ishaan enters her life like a ray of sunshine. In the midst of their clashing indifferences and unrequited love, will their love ever see the light of day? To sum up, ‘Chiro Sakha Hey’ is a story about Love, hope and sacrifice.
While the story is by the director himself, Aveek Ray and Sujoyneel Bondyopadhyayhave penned the screenplay and dialogues. Music is by
Soumya Rit and DOP Subhadeep Naskar. The film will be edited by Anirban Maity.
