Tolly actor Yash has a rather interesting take on
Diwali. Wonder what it is? Well, the actor himself shared with us. “I love earning during the auspicious occasion of Diwali. I feel it’s a good omen. I have been inaugurating Kali pujas across the state right since
Dhanteras and it’s been a great feeling. I also believe it is a good way of connecting with fans who are integral to the popularity I enjoy,” he shared.
Even though he kept busy most of last evening, Yash did take out some time to enjoy with his loved ones. “I celebrated Diwali late last night because I was busy with an inauguration in Tamluk. Appearances left me with very little time this year. That’s why I couldn’t do much. Having said that, I didn’t miss out on what I love the most — the sky lanterns. It was all about them this year. I love to see the lanterns soar high in the air, twinkling along the way,” he said.
The actor took part in puja during the day before he left for Tamluk. “Diwali is incomplete without Lakshmi-Ganesha puja. I performed puja in the afternoon this year since I had to leave for work. In the night, I visited our parar Kali puja and spent some time there,” he added.
On the work front, Yash will be next seen in
Sujit Mondal’s yet-untitled romantic drama opposite
Priyanka Sarkar. In the film, Yash plays Arjun, an alcoholic who is battling depression. “The shoot will kickstart on November 30,” the actor signed off.
