#ThirdWave disrupts Tollywood film shoots

Meanwhile, Tollywood shoots, too, have been impacted by the third wave.

Filmmaker MN Raj

, who has completed the shoot for Jeet-starrer

Raavan

, said, “We have completed the shoot of the film and it is in post-production stage now. But we were supposed to shoot two-three song sequences that now stand shelved until the situation improves. The cast and crew were supposed to shoot one song and dance sequence abroad but travelling abroad is not just unsafe but also a huge task at the moment. We will sit with the team soon and decide on how to go about those sequences. The shoot will happen only when the situation improves because nothing is more important than one’s health and security.”
Shiboprosad Mukherjee, who just wrapped up the shoot of

Haami 2

, echoed similar sentiments. The filmmaker is waiting for the third wave to subside so he can shoot patches of a song and dance sequence for the film. “We only have two days of shoot left. We were scheduled to shoot soon but considering the current scenario, we have postponed it. It’s not safe to shoot in this situation — especially when there are kids involved. It’ll only happen when we tide over the third wave and parents feel it’s safe to send their children to shooting floors,” he said.
