Come Puja and a modern fairy tale will unfold on the big screen. Based on Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay’s novel by the same name, Manojder Adbhut Bari, directed by Anindya Chattopadhyay, revolves around Raja Gobindo Narayan Chaudhuri and Rani Maa, who are on the lookout for their lost son, Kondorpo Narayan Chaudhuri. The rajputrawas kidnapped as a child, and his only available photograph surfaces in the family album of Manoj, a young boy living in the same town.

Manoj and the ‘strange’ characters living in his house — his siblings, father, grandmom, father’s aunt, uncles, private tutor, music teacher and domestic helps — start the search for the lost prince with aid from the local detective and constable. Soon, Manoj gets involved in the task of saving the royal palace from a dangerous robbery. A laugh-a-minute riot, the film stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Sandhya Roy, Abir Chatterjee, Silajit, Bratya Basu, Sumit Samaddar, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Abhijit Guha, Rohit Banerjee, Sohag Sen, Soham Maitra, Purab Seal Acharya and others.
