The trailer of Feludar Goyendagiri 2: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr, directed by Srijit Mukherji is out.The series, adapted from Satyajit Ray’s iconic novel, promises a gripping narrative set against the breathtaking backdrop ofKashmir.The second season of Feludar Goyendagiri takes audiences on an enthralling adventure with the beloved trio—Feluda (Tota Roy Choudhury), Topshe (Kalpan Mitra), and Jatayu (Anirban Chakrabarti).
In this installment of Feludar Goyendagiri, Feluda, Topshe, and Jatayu unravel a chilling mystery in the serene landscapes of Kashmir, where a retired judge's past decisions come back to wreak havoc, leading to a trail of murder and deception. Their journey to the picturesque locales of Gulmarg, Khilanmarg, and Pahalgam takes a dark turn when retired judge Siddheshwar Mallick (Rajatava Dutta) , haunted by his controversial past, is brutally murdered. The narrative deepens with attempted assassinations, a missing diamond ring, and secrets buried in the judge’s troubled family history, and yet again Feluda’s legendary “mogojastro” (intellect) becomes the key to unraveling a complex web of deceit, betrayal, and revenge.
The cast includes Rajatava Dutta as Siddheshwar Mallick, Riddhi Sen as Sushanto, and Sawon Chakraborty as Vijay Mallick. Under Srijit’s direction, the series brings alive the moral complexities and intense drama of Ray’s original work while offering a modern cinematic experience.
This season pays homage to Satyajit Ray’s original Feluda universe by recreating a few iconic scenes from the legendary detective’s past adventures. These nostalgic moments blend seamlessly with the new narrative, delighting long-time fans while introducing timeless charm to new audiences.
