The shooting of ‘Kelo’ begins in Kolkata

The upcoming Bengali film ‘Kelo’ recently went on floors and the shooting is taking place in popular parts of Kolkata.
The story of the film revolves around a slum dweller named ‘Kelo’ who finds himself at a landlady named Anuradha’s house on a rainy night. Apparently, Anuradha had lost her husband and son only a few days ago by the hands of the doctors who had conspired against her in a bid to cover up for a malpractice going on at the hospital.Interestingly, Kelo’s face resembles that of Anuradha’s own son. So she starts a revenge mission and plants Kelo in the nursing home. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
Directed by Shankar Roy, the cast of the film includes Hritojeet, Mani Bhattacharya, Laboni Sarkar, Mrinal Mukherjee, Rajesh Sharma, Bodisatwa Majumdar in pivotal roles.
The music of this film has been helmed by Soumitra Kundu while Goutam Sushmit has taken care of the lyrics. The screenplay and script have been penned by Manotosh Chakraborty.
