'The Red Line': Makers release the official trailer of Satyajit Majumdar’s upcoming social drama

Satyajit Majumdar’s upcoming social drama 'The Red Line' revolves around the heart touching story of two young souls.
The makers of have now released the official trailer for this experimental social drama.
The story follows the life of Brishti, a young girl, whose fate has dragged her to the darkest alleys of a red light area. The other protagonist Sankar, is a devastated author.One day they are being introduced through a middleman. The main essence of the story lies here. Sankar finally gets it right and pens an emotional real-life story based on Brishti’s life. This transforms Sankar into a grownup man and the once clueless writer realizes he has a significant role to play in Brishti’s life.
The cast of this film includes Sankar Chakraborty, Ramen Roychoudhury, Saborni Roy and many others. Two eminent faces of the Bengali music industry, Rupankar and Subhamita have lent their voice in this film.
Director Satyajit became popular after making a short film, titled ‘Salted Water’, based on the destruction caused by cyclone Aila in 2009.
