I’ve never been to any film school; I learnt the art of storytelling from four persons — Aparna Sen, Anjan Dutt, Rituparno Ghosh and Kaushik Ganguly. Assisting Rinadi (Aparna Sen) and Anjanda enriched me as a director. In 2009, I wanted to assist Kaushikda, who I address as my mastermoshai, but couldn’t because he already had a directorial team. I learnt everything about filmmaking from them, so Happy Teacher’s Day to all four.
