Actor-director Tathagata Mukherjee has started shooting for his next film ‘Gopone Mod Chharan’. The black comedy, which Tathagata claims is the first-ever single-shot film, features Soham Majumder, Soumya Mukherjee, Rishav Basu, Samrat Mukherjee in the lead. Meanwhile, Rooqma Ray and Megha Chowdhury will make their film debut with this experimental film.

The story starts with three friends searching for a bottle of wine in the middle of the night and suddenly they face a dramatic twist that leads to a series of comic errors.

According to the director, in this movie, the camera aims to capture the flow of life without stopping and all the characters try to influence each other with butterfly effect.

Meanwhile, Tathagata is awaiting the release of his much-delayed film ‘Bhotbhoti’ this August. The film, a modern-day fairytale-love story, blends fiction with reality in a story of a young man Bhotbhoti and a mermaid Ariel. While Rishav Basu plays Bhotbhoti, Bibriti Chatterjee will be seen as the mermaid. Dipankar Dey, Mamata Shankar and Rajatava Dutta are also playing pivotal roles. Tathagata himself and Debleena Dutt will be seen in key roles as well. The film will hit the theatres on August 11.
