Tathagata Mukherjee’s short film to be screened online for global audience

Last month, Tathagata Mukherjee released a short film on lockdown and climate change, which was appreciated by viewers online. Now, an international NGO that works on different environmental causes, has decided to collaborate with the director to screen the film on different global platforms. Tathagata, who is obviously happy with the development, said that the film was made to create awareness on the climate change and he is glad that it will reach the global audience now.
The film, Stripped, revolves around how the pandemic has changed all of us.

The privileged class and poorest of the poor — are now equals. “And this is not an individual incident either. There has been storms and forest fires all around the world. Corona is just a warning from Mother Nature,” said the filmmaker.
The director made this 11-minute short film with as many as 26 actors, including Bickram Chatterjee, Sujoy Prosad and Rajatabha Dutta. The actors shot their respective portions on mobile phones from the confines of their homes and sent it to the director, which was later compiled and edited.
